Gambrella began in 1982 as a small, quiet retreat for myself and a few friends to disappear from the real world and the telephone. As everyone hung out and enjoyed the still nights, conversation eventually led to the idea of expanding this lovely cabin and the surroundings into a place where more people could come and discover what we had found... serenity.

As the years rolled along, more bedrooms were created, out-buildings added, trees cut for more room, and even a secluded playhouse was
added deep in the woods.

We had accomplished "Walden Pond!"

Now with all this complete, we offer you the experience of escaping to a secluded place where you can relax, breathe in the clean mountain air, collect your thoughts and lose all the cares of
the world.
